Good point. I used distilled water (2 L drugstore bottle), but nothing is of course sterile around here. Diluted it's about pH 8.5, and what's mild to my skin probably isn't too harsh to suppress nasty bugs from growing. For the time being, I'll live dangerous, and just try to use it up quickly enough before it spoils (but without developing washing OCD ).Since it is for personal use only, I don't have to adhere to any legislation. Thanks to subsidiarity, national and EU rules happily blend into a bittersweet regulation cocktail – of which I haven't tasted yet.
