Love the soap and love the video. Hope your finger is okay. :) I like your soap cutting apparatus. Have you ever tried one of those ...ummm... what's it called ... like a thing you can use to chop vegetables then scooop them up. A blade kind of thing. Oh great. What are they called? Probably about 5 inches by 6 inches, some are rolled over at the top to form a grip. Well, anyway, I think it would work great with your cutter box. Of course, when the camera is not on you probably never cut yourself. :)

My finger is ok, still all bandaged up but not bleeding so I'll probably take it off soon, it's impeding my ability to type. I have used a chopper before, I have one that came with my Ron Popeil (whatever, you know what I mean) knife set my mom got me a few years ago, however that blade is flimsy and the handle prevents it from chopping all the way down which is a bummer. Eventually I'm going to buy a long pizza knife... the better to chop through my bulk orders of M&P with too, I'll see how it works with my CP soaps lol.

This is the first time I've cut myself while cutting soaps at all, even M&P. Of course I cook a lot so I've cut myself plenty in the kitchen.

That looks delicious. Just like a bowl of oatmeal. Yummy. Thank you also for sharing your cutting board design. I was go

That looks like a bowl of oatmeal. Yummy! I bet it smells yum too. Thank you also for sharing your cutting board design. I was going to ask about it. Do you have a link to the project video? Seems like a great way to make a board inexpensively

I did want to add that while I bought my materials at Home Depot rather than Lowe's and I have a wood backstop rather than that metal joint, I did opt to stabilize more and screw the sides and the backstop into the bottom plank. With the gorilla glue and all the wood and the wood screws it cost about a total of $20 I'd say. Not too bad and it's pretty light but my bottom plank is a good sized piece of wood and I purposely bought a "finished" piece because I didn't want to have to sand it myself.
