Purple is Tuberose/Hyacinth, purple glitter morphed to pink  . Orange is Tuberose/Dreamsical,litsea,Orange EO.

Yep, cupcakes are fun, and I didn't know that glitter would change colour either. This is the second soap its happened on with the purple, next time I talk with the supplier I'll tell her in case its faulty or something.

I'm curious. What type of glitter are you using?

Outstanding Relle!

Question ... do you make the bases and let them cure and then make the whipped top? If you do ... how do you make sure the whipped top is attached?

Dragonkaz, when i have done these i make up the bottom and pour them, then let them get firm. while they are doing their thing, i make the batch for the top and i whip it until it is pretty stiff, then i pipe the tops on. as long at the tops done get hot, they stay whipped and stiff, but if they get hot they melt and make an ugly mess. i usually pop them into the fridge for the next 12 hours or so. :)

B & B, the glitter I buy is from a soap supplier here in Australia, think its just a fine one.

Kaz, I make up a batch of batter, split it and scent the base, no colour, pour into a silicon cupcake patties, while that is firming a little the rest I colour and scent and stickblend 'til quite thick like icing sugar, then put into a plunger and pipe straight on top. Because I'm doing it altogether it stays stuck. I don't whip it as such. I put them in the frig for about 4 hrs and then take them out and peel off the bases, then put them on racks to dry.

Thanks Relle!

I've been reading heaps about 'whipping' soap, as I'm keen to give it a try ... but I'm still feeling anxious!

I have never had to whip the soap to make CP cupcakes. I don't understand why you whip the soap before you pipe on top. What is the advantage of doing that?

it makes it more fluffy and icing looking when you whip it and also you can use less soap.

I was just curious since I don't whip my soap before piping.
Here are some of my piped CP cupcakes I made today.
