cucumber soap

I want to make a cucumber soap and have read two different ways of making it: One is by mixing the lye w/ pureed cucumber in place of the water; and the other says to add the pureed cucumbers into the lye/fats mixture before trace. Anyone know which method might be better? Thanks!

I've made cucumber soap! I used fresh cucumber puree in place of the water. I froze the puree in an ice cube tray and then added the lye to the frozen cubes.... so it wouldn't burn the cucumber.

Worked well for me!
