I welcome critique and suggestions for improvemnet of my soap please. This recipe:
Water as % oil weight 26%
Superfatted 7%
Sat:unsat ratio 46:54
mango seed butter 20%
Coconut oil 21%
Olive pomace 47%
Babassu oil 12%
Lye and oils mixed at 105-115 degrees celsius
Lavander oil 20mls added at trace at 2% recipe
This recipe traced in under 5 mins.
so this recipe turned out firmer as it had a less water............traced quickly and I got a swirly effect between gelled and non gelled parts. I insulated this soap well. Soap would cut at 24 hours but still a little crumbly as you can see in pics. Suggestions welcome for improvement.
