This was my recipe,

oil(grams):
coconut 75
Olive extra virgin 90
Canola100
Sweet Almond80
Shea butter 165

purified water 188
NaOH 85

Discount 5%
Powder: gardenia seed 6g green clay 6g(soak into sweet almond oil-5ml each- to get the color)
E.O: Geranium3ml Lavender 5ml Patchouli 2ml :oops:

was there supposed to be a picture?

how long was it before you cut? did it gel? was it zapless?

Everything was usual. I took it out a day after. When I took it out from the mold, I felt it very hard and not sticky at all..

btw, I don't know how to input a pic on this forum. Hope it works.

I could be wrong, but your soap looks lye heavy. Try entering the numbers into the calculator again, I got 68 grams lye, not 85 like you said.

Well even in the absence of other information, if your numbers are correct then you've used too much lye - which could certainly cause that. From where did you get the measurements/recipe?
