My soap was at a thick trace and then it started curdling! I tried to beat it back but that didn't work. I started cooking it for not knowing what else to do with it. After a while, I tried to reincorporate it. It did ok, looked like a finished batch. I peeked at it and it is separated again. Is there any hope?

Only things different to this batch was adding 2% SL and satin pearl white mica with the oils. It's gray instead of white.

In my newbie opinion, and only my newbie opinion as others may know better - Keep cooking until it dries out to the right consisitency. Mine does this and when I pour it (litterally) too early it crumbles (see my post about crumbly soap. It just needs to cook down some.

Ok, just came from working with it. It came back to a normal consistency. Well, as normal as I can guess with the SL. I still couldn't pour it but then it was juat an odd batch. I just hope it isn't a crumbly batch!

I've had this happen, get the whisk out, and give it some welly, the sb doesn't work, and it all went back together! Maybe I was lucky!

Next time, before you soap just warn then to Leave or Else!

I'll remember to do that next time!

ALL IS WELL! :D It turned out a cream color when I was going for more of a white color with my jasmine fo but I'm not really going to complain at this point. We cut it last night and it is so smooth from the SL. The shape is very nice also. It really did turn out quite well and I'm very happy with it. I guess I still need to try it though, I hope I like how it works.

I definitely learned something and won't have to panic next time. :D

I'm going to take pics of my batches here soon.
