CP soap modeling clay

Hi all.
I am kind of new here although I read your posts all the time. Do you have any recipe for soap dough(clay) with CP soap?
I want to make some roses like those made from sugar paste.

I don't know of any "clay" recipe but I recently used a very fine grater to shred some 3 day old CP soap to make soap balls. Once its shredded, you can squish it and knead it back together and it has a clay like doughy consistency that can be molded but the surface is tacky and probably wont work well for making roses if you're making them petal by petal. They can be molded into a textured mold though.

There are moldable soaps, usually sold as children's playthings and toiletries, e.g. Village's Putty Soap. But it's not clear to me that's what you're after. Do you want something the user can remold, or do you just want to make something like cake frosting decorations in soap that will hold its shape?

AFAICT the moldable soaps are somewhat soft soaps with some aluminosilicate.

I had to rebatch some soap right after it was made and added a bit of water, probably a bit too much. When I unmolded, it was the texture of modeling clay and remained that way for a while until it dried more. In that state, you could use it to hand-make the petals etc.. and put together a flower. I just don't know how it would hold up while the soap dries and shrinks as it ages. If you put it together properly ( although I don't know exactly how that would be), perhaps it would stay put. Certainly worth trying.

You could also make a batch of CP and make it so it is a softer soap by using certain oils or adding a bit more water. I would gel and then immediately after unmolding, do what you want while it is still pliable. Putting the flower together while the soap is like that means you may be able to press it together enough for it to bond. Definitely worth a go with a 1-2# batch.

Does it have to be all soap? Someone recently posted here about soap with embedded plastic mesh (as in the scrubbies). It occurs to me you could form such a mesh and then form the soap on it by a dipping process, like candles.

Had look at the site it looks like m&p from a silicon mold not like suger paste like you said that's the way I would go myself
