My butter which is 80% butters and 20% oils is very greasy (I might drop it to 10% oil), so I added cornstarch today. I had no idea how much to use, so ended up adding 2 heaped teaspoons to a 100g batch but its still quite greasy. If you use cornstarch, would you add more than this or is it a case of too much oil?

You can also try arrowroot powder or IPM (Isopropyl Myristate) which with both help with the greasiness. Also try drier oils like Fractionated coconut oil.

You didn't say what kind of butters you are using, but mango is going to feel less greasy than shea, so try out some blends. For different properties of oils and butters, spend some time here http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/

It was half mango, half shea. I've ran out of mango now, so might try with cocoa butter next. Thanks for the link, I'll have look.
