Corn silk

I am drying out some corn silk. Does any one have any info? What is the best way to dry it out, grind it, add to soap. Thank you!

Hmmmmm.....I would dry it like you would any other herb or additive. You could grind it in a coffee grinder.....mine sees more oatmeal and other soap additives than coffee!

Hello! Sorry to revive this older post, but I was wondering....Black soap n candle lady - how did you end up soaping with your corn silk and what properties do you feel it gives the soap? I am really keen to use some in CP however I have no idea if it will add something nice to my recipe.

I have just ordered some tussah silk from ebay, I want to see what all the fuss is about. I paid $7.50 for 50 grams (1.76 ounces).
I thought that was a pretty good deal!
