I would like to try to make a cool water type soap. If you make a soap like this, where do you get your cool water type/dupe fragrance oil? I'm still so new to this that I'm leary of trying different suppliers without recomendations from other more experienced soapers. Thanks!

I bought one from natures garden, smelled great at first, noe fading, im sad, I used and 1/2 oz per lb, which i usually do for hp, maybe will use more next time, if you want a great guy scent, peakcandles.com, "black canyon", it is my hubbys fav, i have made 4 batches of this scent.

Re: Cool Water

I buy my cool water (men's type) from Cierra Candles. It is a dead on dupe in my opinion. My hubby uses this cologe. I've tried a few other suppliers but Cierra Candles, in my opinion has the best quality of this scent.

I used 1oz ppo in soap and it soaped well, no discoloration and kept it's scent. I just got another pound this week and plan to soap it this evening. :)

It is my most popular candle scent as well.

I haven't ordered their cool water, but I did get drakkar for men as well as a dozen other name brand dupes. All were wonderful :) My bottles are probably a little over a year old, so I am starting to use them more to finish up - but they still smell brand new.

Re: Soapsupplies.net

The soapsupplies.net are good scents too. I didn't order Cool Water but I have soaped the Creed Green Irish Tween which is their River Dance and their Black Raspberry Vanilla. :)
