Did I miss something? I thought it was still the Tonight Show, with Conan O'Brien. Last night it was clearly NOT the Tonight Show, even the Tonight Show Band was gone. It was just the Conan O'Brien show on an hour earlier  .

Looking on the bright side, we now have an excuse to go to bed an hour earlier...

We're watching Tivo-ed Tonight show right now. I thought it was going to be with Conan, too. And was VERY disappointed to see his band. Agree, I'll be going to bed an hour earlier, too. Heck, I felt the same way when Johnny left. Maybe Conan will grow on me, but I doubt it. I don't find him very funny. In fact, sometimes I need to have it explained to me why he thinks he's so funny. Sometimes he's the only one laughing at his jokes.

Don't hold your breath. I can't stand Conan. Never could. Even the reviews were not real promising. My DH stays up late for both, but can't stand Conan, either. Too bad. Either way, it was rare I stayed up for either :D

I really miss Jay Leno already. :( Conan just seems to lack that certain engaging something that Jay seems to have in abundance.

It's hard for me to explain, but Conan's jokes and the way he interacts with his guest and the audience just leave me feeling kind of cold in comparison to the warm manner in which Jay always seems to project himself with his guests and audience. Jay's the kind of person you'd feel at home with enough to be comfortable giving a warm hug to and shooting the breeze with, while Conan is....well....well.....not that kind of person!

Conan can make me laugh every once in a rare while, but I find most of his humor to be very nonsensical and adolescent. His idea of humor reminds me a lot of an annoying 13 year old boy who for some strange reason thinks that making repeated armpit noises in public is the most hilarious thing in the world, and wonders why everyone else doesn't find it as funny as he does. :?

On a brighter note- I can hardly wait to see Jay's new show coming in the fall. It's supposed to come on right before Conan. Does anyone know what kind of show it's going to be?
