completely clear facial masks

How are the facial masks made that are completely clear? I have seen a few, but the most recent one was called a Pineapple & Papaya Gentle Enzyme Mask. Just curious how you end up with a clear product like that???

Or maybe aloe vera gel? I do a mask for myself that is a mixture of honey and aloe vera gel and it's clear. I couldn't SELL one like this because of preservative issues with the honey, but maybe some of the ones on the market have aloe vera gel in them....or gelatin (like Krissy mentioned). ??
