Micas and oxides may be your best bet. Clay is a possibility, but I haven't yet tried it personally.

I've been delving into natural colorants and I still don't have a green. Using botanicals and seaweed is misguided because those greens come from chlorophyll. That light-sensitizes your soap so that it's just going to fade quickly and the oils will actually oxidize more rapidly.

I got a pretty light green like this using a very green hemp oil at 10% (that I add Rosemary Oleoresin (an antioxidant) to, which might help), and french green clay (1 TBSP ppo)

This was an earlier CPOP with hemp and french green clay, and it was more olive colored.

Both of the above colors have stuck well.

Below is HP infused OO with comfrey and nettle - it faded to a pale sage.

Green seaweed made a lovely green batter, but the soap turned golden - no bad thing really: http://www.soapmakingforum.com/showthread.php?t=46757

The bottom green on this is chromium oxide - I adore the green color, but I need to remember to mix in the powder better with the dispersing oil or glycerin - or I get speckles

Yeah, I have a thing for green....

French green clay can be kind of a dull grayish green, although the exact shade depends on the source. If you're looking for a clear green that echoes the idea of "avocado", it might not be the best choice.
