Hi everyone!... Sooo i recently made some soap that required vanilla stabilizer plus i added coconut milk and gmilk... Anyways the scent did not stay much in the soap ... It smells a bit funny, idk if its bc the vanilla stabilizer or what but yeah im not ok with it. Its been a day and it just smells faint. My question is. Can i rebatch this soap even though i already put fragrance in it? Is that ok? Or will it be harsh on the skin if i rebatch it and add a different fragrance in it?

Thank you!

Yes, you can rebatch it but I wouldn't recommend it just yet. What you describe fragrance-wise happens sometimes. I would give it a couple of weeks to see if the scent improves before going to the trouble of a rebatch. As far as scent fading is concerned, it often comes back after cure and once you lather up. No worries. ;)

Yes, i thought of waiting a bit to see.. Hopefully it comes back. Its the warm vanilla sugar from NG ... It smells wonderful in the bottle but on the soap its just eehhh.. Lets see what happens. Thank you much!!

From experience with that FO - wait about 3 weeks, then it comes back - IF you used a good usage rate. You don't say how much you used, so maybe post that here. I use around 1 oz (30g) PPO.
