Cold Cream Soap

So I found this recipe for cold cream soap and was wondering what the benefits or purpose this soap has.. If anyone know the answer, please help me, as I am clueless......

Catherine Failor has a cold cream soap recipe that is a liquid cream soap and not a solid bar. It's used to moisturize dry skin. Cold cream is used to remove makeup so I would guess that's part of what it's meant to do. Snowdrift farms has cream soap recipes as well.
