DeeAnna, that soap is lovely and thanks for the photo of your "soap set". I've been using a handmade light box with Ott lamps but your set up looks more versatile
 
Here are my coffee bars. Partially gelled and an bit ashy, but not bad for my third batch.

My first soap was a coffee soap - using strong black coffee as liquid for the lye, and the coffee ground from that added as trace for colour, smell and scrub. I think it was about 70% olive oil and 30% coconut oil, with some coconut cream. I use it, it's a hard bar with decent lather, but it smells bad... the coffee scent is gone, and it just smells a kind of sickly sweet - I think natural soap smell, or maybe from the coconut.
 
Nice looking soap, Squyars. Thanks for sharing! The coffee part of mine looks pretty much the same as yours.

Mine had some ash too. I found it polishes off with a soft cloth. Or it dissolves with a quick dip in plain water -- just pat off the drips and let air dry.
