I haven't soap for about a year. I went to walmart to by some coconut oil and they didn't have it. Have they stopped carrying it or is it my area? Do you know local areas i.e. Krogers that caring it?

Thanks for your help

The Walmart Superstores in my area carry it, and I just noticed last week that my local grocery store (Fry's) started carrying it.

I'm so jealous. Any Wal*Mart I've ever been able to get to does NOT carry it. :(

they seem to only have it at superwalmarts, ive checked them all!

Yes, we are near a Wal-mart (super market) and they do carry coconut oil.

Supposedly FredMeyer's has it too? I don't actually know that for sure though :D

every wal-mart i've been to has had it, along with other grocery stores. If you're in wisconsin, michigan, illinois, indiana, ohio or kentucky and you're near a Meijer, they should have it, too. Look high on the shelves. Louanna seems to be the predominant brand in my area.

FredMeyers (a Kroger subsidiary) does carry it in the natural foods section. It's a bit spendy in those small quantities though... Check shipping on larger quantities from a supplier, the costs might actually balance out.

Thanks everyone. I was at a super Walmart. I will check in the next town and check at Kroger. I hope my order from WSP comes tomorrow so I can get started on making some soap.

I may check out the prices of ordering in bulk since it would be cheaper for me to order castor oil in bulk.
