I just did some searching on the net and it seems to be regular 100% CO, not any different than the 76degreeF LuAnn CO that many soapers use to make soap and other toiletries. If it were me, I would have absolutely no hesitation using it. Just make sure to get the white one and not the yellow-colored one.
That's what I use from Amazon. I've had no problems soaping with it... I used to use it for cooking and B&B too. It's just CO. There is an organic one as well for just a bit more.
I do have an Amazon Prime account I was just telling DH I need to order paper towels and a few other things from the Amazon Pantry. I could just add a jug of this too.
I know mine has spent a lot of time at my house this week since I started ordering soap ingredients along with the amazon pantry. I live 25 miles from the nearest walmart or other major grocery store. DH and I would go shopping on Saturdays but his work schedule got hectic this past month and I can't do the shopping on my own (health reasons) so I was excited to learn about amazon pantry., So now all I have to do is buy my meats/milk/eggs etc on a weekly basis. We purchased our can goods in bulk last month. We will do that on the first of the month. All other non perishables I purchased through A/P
One of our Walmarts had a huge clearance last week due to reorganizing/remodeling so I stocked up on shampoo/conditioner/anti-persperant/hair spray/dish detergent (both manual and automatic). I seriously have enough of all of that to last us for a year. Most items for 1.00 and the Pantene brands were 2.95 for the huge bottles!! YAY
And of course I make my laundry detergent so I still have enough of that to last me through a good part of this year.
And now I will be making our own hand soaps and body bars.
OH and for an edit:
I also make my own cleaning supplies. I love my vinegar!! I can do so much with it. Even scent it to knock the vinegar smell down.
