hi,
just wondering if anyone uses coconut milk in their lotions and if they have any good recipes. do you use powdered coconut or liquid. Also how long will this last with a preservative.
thanks.

I've used 10% liquid coconut milk. Any higher and I got a germy problem. It's harder to preserve. Preservative for this type of a lotion works best if it's paraben based.

coconut milk

thanks,
i am new to this and still trying to figure things out but really like the coconut milk.

My coconut milk lotion is my best seller. I use the milk powdered. I use a preserv. and it lasts for at least 6 months but it has never lasted long enough for me to find out  Seriously mine will last up to a year and yes I have had it tested.

Coconut Milk

Great. Thanks..
I am excited to give it a try. I love the coconut milk. I only found one recipe though.
Thanks for all the info.

I looove CM and think it would be a treat in Lotion but I
had fear of shelf-life stability ... I think i should
make up like a tiny 100g and just use it and stack it away
to see how long it lasts.

Then again i could at least get those tester kits (hehe)
