Hi, has anyone used coconut milk in their cp instead of water? I was wondering if it gave any coconut scent to the soap at all and if so how much?

Thinking of experimenting but wanted to ask first.

Thanks for any feedback!

No scent but its still so awesome!

I use it in about half of my soaps and love it!

Yes, lots of us use coconut milk (and other kinds of milks) in our CP in place of water. It lends such a nice, creamy boost to the lather. Unfortunately, like Buckaww and tomara said, it doesn't leave a scent behind. I sure wish it did, though.

IrishLass :)

I wish it did too, but sadly, no scent comes through. I have also soaped with beautiful food grade, extra virgin coconut oil which smells divine and that scent doesn't make it through either. :(

Yes, I too use coconut oil in my cp and it doesn't lend any scent to the final product but I was hoping maybe the milk would. I'm still gonna try it though cause it sounds like it is great! Thanks for the feed back guys!
