I am experiementing with making bubble bath bombs and read some where that when making bath bombs to add a bit of Cocoa Butter for hardness and to stop them dissolving too quickly. I am wondering if I did this with Bubble Bombs would the Cocoa Butter affect the "bubbling" effect at all. Thank you. Brenda

no, not really.

but I personally recommend against it as my testers, back in the day, complained that they got back-acne from the bombs in which I used cocoa butter - it's a real pore-clogger.

Thanks for that, do you think the same would apply to Shea Butter too.

In my experience cocoa butter is by far the worst, shea & kapangan (aka golden shea) are next, and mango and kokum are the least problematic.

Thank you, will see if I can source some mango butter.
