I bought some cocoa butter base from Nature's Garden Candles and I'm having problems with it. Usually, I can melt my bases in my fashioned double boiler with the stove top on low, but for this base to melt without filming over, I had to have a rolling boil under it. I'm afraid that I'm going to over heat my base doing that, but it's the only way I can get it to melt completely. And then, once I have it completely melted, I can't seem to get it to pour smoothly into my molds because it starts hardening immediately. I wind up having to scoop it into the mold and that does not a pretty bar make.. Anyone know what may be happening?
