Is there any real good way to clean up your molds and utensils after making lotion bars? No matter how much I wash, I can still feel it on my stuff? :?

I don't use molds I use the lotion sticks that way I just pour and am done.
Cleaning the utensils is a job as it's hard to cut the oils and butters. I just use super hot water and tons and tons of dawn.

1. Wipe them clean as you can w/ a dry paper towel.
2. Allow HOT water to run over them & ,elt residue.
3. Wipe again w/ a dry paper towel.
4. Make sure they are dry & try some orange essential oil on a paper towel to get them squeaky clean

I disposable items when I works w/ lip balm or lotion bars.

Baby wipes!

Then clean with hot water & soap, then rinse with more hot water ;)

That's a bit of a worry really isn't it? 'Cleans waxy & oily residue and your bubbies tender parts'. :)

Oh I would never use a baby wipe on a baby!

I buy them to clean my rats cages, but find they have many uses around the house, such as this .. Awesome for cleaning serious grime off windows or tiles too :D

Now see,I would never have thought baby wipes weren't gentle & safe-a testament to their marketing I spose.Tho the window cleaning aspect is a definite redeeming feature-getting some next shop! :D

Just get the lotion-free ones unless you want lotions on your windows
