This one should color morph. I left scent and oats out of the very top because i wanted it to stay a true creamy white. For the swirl I added organic oatmeal & fragrance. I divided up two portions, one with cocoa the other with a dash of TD. i know this FO and the cocoa will make a nice rich brown once it gets cut and begins to cure. Im excited to cut into this loaf on Saturday!

The only disappointment with this is that I had planned on doing a cocoa powder pencil line between the swirl and the creamy top layer. Oh well. Next time :)

i hate it when that happens! I'm all about executing my vision so when something is forgotten its a hard pill for me to swallow. I know it will still look beautiful but to me, it will be missing an important planned element lol! Im so OCD.

Then I am too. I hate it when I forget something. In all fairness I was trying a new formula today (one I'm hoping to implement in all recipes from now on) so I had a lot to remember AND I was filming the making of this soap and it took FOREVER to trace lol

For some reason yours looks a little like caramel to me. I want to lick it. Looks sweet and creamy and delectable.

thanks! i wish my "rootbeer float" would have turned out like this instead of wood grain lol! This will turn darker and richer over time exposed to air. I love watching colors morph. Keeps things interesting.

Another well executed soap, R&R! I know what you mean about having things turn out the way you see them in your mind. I am really hoping that I can get the soaps that I am picturing in my head to come out at least sort of looking like I want them to!

That is so pretty! How did you do the nice floaty topping? Your swirls are so fluffy and rounded.

It's beautiful! When I do a topping it always turns into spiky peaks....I can't get that soft round look.

It looks fabululous, like dessert. I have no chocolate in the house so your photo will have to do for tonight! What a neat mold too.
