Chocolate Cherry torte

Here are pics of my very first soap cheesecake/torte! I originally planned a cheesecake, but was feeling the chocolate bug, so now it's a torte!

I have a crust, two chocolate layers, and cherries on top!!

Looks delectable! How did you make the nuts at the bottom of the cake. They look so real

Thanks! The cherries ending up looking like purple rabbit poop ... but I'll live with it for my first attempt!

For the bottom crust, I just used oatmeal in a brown/tan M&P.

I love this one too.

Can you imagine all your cakes lined up in a glass deli case? Imagine shoppers ordering slices and then a white aproned clerk weighing each slice and boxing them up. The shop walls are cerulean blue, there are crystal chandeliers bathing the walls with prismatic light, the staff are in crisp linen aprons..and...and..
