Up until now I have been using goats milk that I have been purchading in 1 litre uht containers from woolworths. They are no longer stocking it and I have run out. I like the way the milk soap feels as I have dry skin. Can I change out the goats milk for cow milk and still have a similar feeling? I have also read about coconut milk/cream can be used. My recipe is 20% co so would changing to coconut milk/cream make a more drying soap? Tia :)

you can use powdered goats milk.

cow milk is fine too, so is coconut. you can also lower your coconut oil to 15% if you have dry skin.

I cant get powdered goats milk here locally. :-( I might try a batch with the lowered co % and increase the olive or palm a bit. Soap calc tim when im at a pc
