So wouldn’t you know that the one product I made just to try, and took terrible notes, would be the one that my ILs love, and that their friend tried and wants some? 🤦🏻‍♀️

I made a pain salve based on a recipe from The Nerdy Farm Wife. It’s got dandelion-infused sunflower oil, arnica, tamanu oil, and I used some CBD oil that had been lying around the house for a while. (I plan to also add some emu oil to this next batch.) I wish I’d recorded how much CBD oil was used (I just used up what was left in that particular bottle), and that I’d taken a picture of the bottle so I would know the concentration, and whether it was just CBD, full spectrum oil, with added terpenes, or what.

Ugh. Listen up, kids: TAKE GOOD NOTES!!!

So now I’m trying to figure out what I can do to recreate this mystery recipe. I do have some CBD isolate that was given to me a few years ago by a friend in exchange for some soap and I was thinking I’d try to use it. I have a COA that shows it’s 99.683% CBD, so no THC, terpenes, or anything else. I’ve done brain-cramping math and I know how much I want to add to a batch of salve….but my question is, has anyone here used pure CBD in a pain cream? Does it work?
