Canning Salt for Salt Bars??

I've got almost 10 lbs. of canning salt and wondered if I could use this in my salt bars when I make them? From what I can see after researching, it would be OK but just wanted opinions form those who have already made salt bars. TIA

It shouldn't be a problem at all. I would give it a go myself.

I use mortons pickling and canning salt for my bars with no issues. Just make sure its 100% sodium chloride.

Thank You I figured it would be OK because the package states: All Salt and nothing added...

Yep, that will work just fine. Canning salt clearly doesn't have the label appeal of "sea salt", but my skin can't tell the difference between the cheap stuff and the fancy stuff anyways.
