So this turned out amazing if a bit ugly..
Base beef tallow
Lard, pomace oo, coconut oil, palm oil, and coconut oil
And a bit of cocoa butter..
Only had a very small amount of cocoa butter and palm oil. So I figured hey lets clean out the closet.
Added bentonite clay, just bc
Green sea clay for colorant, and grass stain fo by BB..
it got so warm that even in the freezer it went throuhh a partial gel, I would add pics but my tablet wont let me,
It also won't allow me to use soap calc, but thats ok I can us BB lye calc just fine.
I got some decent peaks on the top and the partial gel look just adds to the rustic look I was hoping for anyway.. oh I used a bit of tea tree oil also.. I love that stuff its good for everything.
Just cut it and decided I wanted to see how it was with a little sliver that came off the side.. oh wow!! Not to bad even if I say so myself
Oh I also used a bit of kelp powder.. personally I didnt find it had an odor..
I also did an apple scented gm soap yesterday using rose clay for color. But it just came out of the freezer this morning, went for a rose and white swirlish pattern for it.. but again I suck at swirls so we will see, maybe it will be ready to cut when I get home from work..
Out of lye at the moment so that kinda blows, but maybe hunny will go to the hardware store while I'm at work.. he always feels funny asking for it, as they keep it under lock and key here.. im just like your a plumber by trade, c'mon now.. hope everyone has a wonderfully soapy day
