I'm making a coconut scented soap for a friend and am wondering if I can add real coconut to it for exfoliation?

Not sure if it would be too harsh or not - I'd like to leave it in it's true form rather than grinding it up as I want the soap to look like there is real coconut in it!

Another option is to use some of my white soap shavings from previous batches (saw someone else do that on here, can't remember who you are, sorry!) It looked like real coconut, but this friend likes the exfoliating bars so I need something a little scrubby.

???

Yes you can absolutely use coconut in your soap, i reccommend drying it or toasting it shredded first, but you should find what works best for you! do a couple experiments!!
