I've made soap with dairy products before, but yesterday I made a soap with greek yogurt and WOWZA did I get an ammonia smell! Burn your nose hairs off. I've read that the smell is supposed to lessen as it cures.
So I was just smelling my curing soaps (thats normal, right?) and I thought a gm soap I made a few weeks ago had a faint ammonia smell. Is it possible the smell is catching? If so, will it fade from both soaps? Do I need to quarantine my yogurt soap? Space is at a premium, so I'd rather not if I don't have to!
