I'm following a recipe that lists it all by volume, and have to add two tablespoons of solid beeswax to melted oils... I could melt it, measure it, solidify it, grate it.. but hoping someone here knows offhand what a tablespoon weighs. Thanks :)

Eta, oops, this doesn't belong in soap section, its for a bath and body item.. doesn't change the question, but just wanted to point out my mistake.

well...

the specific gravity (density) of beeswax is between 0.960 and 0.972. so a little "fluffier" than water.

a tablespoon (in the US) is 15 mls. to get the conversion to grams you will multiply by the SG so it'll be 14.4 - 14.6 grams.

:D How do you retain that information? :D

Thank you! Made a note of it so I don't forget.

i have a technical bent of mind. i love that stuff.

plus I have google... ;)

would you believe I forgot about google this time? lol... you guys are usually a lot more accurate anyway ;)
