Its a commercial brand. I tried solid bars before but they were basically soap and destroyed my hair. I’m no quitter! But I am confused. Can anyone take a look at this list of ingredients and know if it’s been made with lye?
INGREDIENTS
SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE • HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL • SODIUM COCO-SULFATE • AQUA / WATER • POLYGLYCERYL-4 LAURATE • GLYCERIN • HYDROXYPROPYL GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE • PARFUM / FRAGRANCE • CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE • AVENA SATIVA KERNEL OIL / OAT KERNEL OIL • ORYZA SATIVA STARCH / RICE STARCH • TETRASODIUM GLUTAMATE DIACETATE • LINALOOL • COUMARIN • BENZYL ALCOHOL

thanks in advance
Deb

Thank you, very much appreciated .
this would also be a syndet bar?
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Aqua, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate, Glycerin, Parfum, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Panthenol, Tetrasodium Gluamate Diacetate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool

Yes definitely. If it were lye soap, you would either see sodium hydroxide on the ingredient list, or “saponified oils of…” or the saponified oil names: sodium olivate, sodium cocoate, sodium tallowate, etc.
