Hi All,
First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
However, with this New Year comes a new rule to renewing my business license. The State of Cali is requesting SIC codes in regards to Stormwater Discharge Compliance. Now, Soapmaking is on the list as follows: "Soap & Other Detergents, except Specialty Cleaners". I looked through the "million" page permit booklet and I'm so lost. It talks about "Chain Custody" and "Review and assessment of all BMPs for each area of industrial activity and associated potential pollutant sources"... Ugh! Is anyone else, in California, familiar with this compliance form and do I really need to get this permit? I don't have any runoff - it seems as this is for the major industrial factories. Any information is MOST welcome.
