I am starting a kids' line of products, but the name I want to use already belongs to a software company......does that I mean I can't use it for an entirely different product?

Hey Soapmommie - there are a bunch of businesses that have similar names to mine, in that we all share the same first word in our name (Malaspina) but because the descriptive portion of the names are all different it is okay. Eg.

- Malaspina Soap Factory (me)
- Malaspina Bed & Breakfast
- Malaspina University College
- Malaspina Day Care
- Malaspina Massage Therapy

So, all I'm saying is that there can be all kind of businesses that share the first part of a name but as long the descriptive portion is different they will usually allow it....

Would you consider asking te soapforum members to brain storm some other possible Buisness Names for you if you gave a int or two about were you are from etc.
You could still use te one you want at the moment. I mean it just migt open up other ideas?
