I second that mold! And I think sandlewood is a great fragerence for it... I can just imagine some Druid Spa Bathing Ritual with Enya playing and sandlewood incense...mmmm....

Thank you all. I can't wait til my pigments and other stuff comes in so I can play more with those. And I want so much to do CP now, but I am afraid if I start with the CP too soon, all the MP I bought will sit in the box and be ignored like a red headed step child...

And you can always do other things with your MP :) I got frustrated with MP bars for awhile (bit of a long story), so I've been using my leftover MP to make solid sugar scrubs. They're amazing :)

I just made some more soap using the Dragon's blood FO I got. I *really* want to do CP, but I have been trying to figure out how I can afford all the little things I would need to start making it. I am on a tight budget and I know that I will need a lot of things to start making it... larger molds, oils, pots and containers for lye, thermometers, a hand blender, and I am sure I am forgetting things right now. Sorry for whining, just hate having to wait until I slowly build up the stuff I need to get started... more of that patience thing...

I started postin to this forum six weeks ago and just made my first cp batch this week. It's an expensive hobby and it takes time to build your inventory. Try thrift shops and garage sales, you don't need all new stuff as long as it is clean stuff. And a lot of stuff is cheaper then you think - a candy thermometer can be had for 3.00, bowls, strainer, and lye pitcher for 10. A lot of people here, myself included, are dollar store afficianados. Don't worry about the fancy stuff- you dont need a big mixing set when a bowl and spoon does the trick to mix colors and Fragrence.

Yeah, I am slowly figuring things out, and after I make my way through today's posts I am heading out to the dollar store to see what I can find.
