Butt-ugly, Fugly, hideous, Weird and strange...

I saw Surf Girl's stab at ugly soap and it inspired me to show mine.

Back story, ugh...It started sometime ago. I made a FAIL batch of M&P. THAT is another story, anyway, I tried to salvage it into something interesting and it became an EPIC FAIL!!! LOL

Here...Steel yourself. Try not to scream too loudly or jump out of any windows or anything.

Character...I like that. It certainly has a certain something. I call it hideous myself. LMAO!

OK, so maybe - maybe you can be a contender in the Butt Ugly Soap Contest (although I think yours has some artistic points in its favour with which the Jason Soap can't compete). However, I do believe I still stand on top of the ugly soap heap unless you can claim some foul fragrance to go along with yours. Hmm? Hmm? Insecticide-plus-cheap cologne? Got anything better than that?

LMAO!!! Okay, okay so maybe ugly isn't JUST in the looks. BUT, in defense of my ugly-ness, I do have to say, you can't smell ugly in a picture. So maybe we should hold a poll and ask the folks of SMF to decide? LOL.

No actually, it's a dis-Stink-shun that you can have if you want it, Surf Girl, I just thought you might like some company in the roller coaster car of ugly soap-making. LOL ;0)

I have to dissappoint you, but this is defenitely NOT the ugliest soap - it doesn't come even near it

It certainly has artistic value to some extend - I like it.

sorry for surf girl too - no way to prove the dissappointing smell - especially when the soap looks good.

I think mine comes closer to the top of uglyness:
overheating, leaking oil and a black supposedly thin line combo results in this:

I called it "Disaster Soap"
FYI scent: melon and pink grapefruit - delicious!

Hmmm, Eucal, I think that your soap looks pretty good. i have to adit i did cringe a little when i saw the first pic, but the others look pretty darned good. I bet they get better looking as you use them too. ;0) It seems to me that we are all harder on ourselves than other people are, which just goes to show that there is no accounting for taste. LOL

But I dunno, we'd have to leave it to the SMF-ers to pick the ugliest. Maybe we should have an official contest and see the worst of the worst?

I might have you all beat , there is a lump of brown?? supposed to be soap ,I posted in the gallery awhile back . I don't know what happened, it is totally fugly, and not useable ,at least yours have color and some appeal.

ok, these soaps are not ugly! they are cool, artisit looking. the first one kind of looks like a fault line .

I do not have pic's to prove, but I once made a soap that looked just like carpet padding. YUCK!

eucalypta! While the first pic made me tremble with fear for my status as Queen of Ugly, the second pic of the cubes made me sigh with relief. Those ones have a definite homely appeal. Not ugly enough.

I think a fug-off is definitely in order. Get a couple more contenders and I'll make it a poll.

perhaps it isn't that fugly, but I had something very smart in mind.
think of it: grapefruit, coloured by it's own peel... a decent thin black line and on top that nice and warm Cantaloupe Melon orange... wouldn't that have made a hunk of a bar
It was a complete shock - everything bathed in black dripping oil :twisted: Gremlins.
I just cleaned them up a bit for the pic, but man I was horrified. he good scent made me keep it.
I use it in the kitchen and one of my beloved DD took a bar home - and it is getting less fuglyh.

But I am in into a contest - for sure - even if I have to create another disaster

I liked them - they appeal to me - kind of like the abstract effect in the first one and the second lot looked like marble! I think they're cool!
