A new obscure holiday that I just learned about. Monday the 31st is bubble wrap appreciation day! The day that we appreciate my personal favorite form of therapy.

Did you know that bubble wrap was originally marketed as a type of wall paper?

I sense alot of bubble popping going on in the very near future!

Thank you! I've never heard of it before. I think Bubble Wrap Day is a fabulous holiday. I'm going to celebrate it in high style this year! Maybe bubble wrap the stair treads? Champagne? Bubble baths?

Who doesn't love the wrap!? Glad to hear it has its own day. 8)

Bubble wrap wall paper is perhaps the best idea I've ever heard. I wonder if I can get away with it on one wall of the garage

Yes it is Amy! Imagine a long stressful day. You come home, pop some of the wall and then make a batch of soap. Instant relaxation!

Ooooh Ewenique, that is a good idea. Would you just use bubble wrap to line the inside of the mold? I was thinking of making some more goatsmilk honey soap soon and I imagine the pattern would be fantastic!

I've lined a mold with it. The bubble wrap peels easily off the soap.
Here's a pic of the result.
