broken soap stamp :(

I have some soap stamps from Bebe and I have loved them, but today one of them broke...a letter broke off. I've only had them less than 2 months. So now when I stamp my soaps it looks like I can't spell

I contacted Bebe and they have offered to give me 2 stamps for the price of one. I think its fair. They are saying that it might be my fault if I am stamping wrong or my soaps are too hard. I think my fonts are too thin so I am going to adjust them to be thicker then order the replacement stamps.

Anyone have any problems like this with Bebe's stamps?

I contacted BeBe to make a custom stamp of my logo. He can't do it. Does anyone know of a soap stamp maker in the US?

I found one over in the UK who is amazing. His name is Dave and his work is fantastic and service second to none. I also found his pricing to be fantastic. So far I've order 6 stamps for myself and some Private Label accounts.

Same thing happened with my stamp about a month ago. The first letter of the second line broke and it looked like half of the letter C. I sent him several pics of the broken stamp and pics of the stamp on my soap. He said it was my design...second row of letters were too thin and weak. He advised that we slightly change my design and make the second line bolder. I had to pay for half the price of the stamp and he paid for everything else. It arrived about 8 days later and is working great. Very happy.

That was my second Bebe purchase and the resolution to the problem was fabulous. I will continue to order as his customer service and promptness has always been very good.

I just ordered a stamp from Lazer cuts, I have been emailing back and forth with bebe and Im having trouble with the communication. Its getting frustrating! I feel like Bebe should tell us when our designs are weak, or we might have trouble with the clarity because of the size or font used...anyway, Dave from lazercuts responded rapidly with my email, I sent him the proof, and he suggested some changes in the bottom row so it will be more visible and he is making the stamp already! Shipping was only $9. He did say the acrylic tends to break which is why he doesnt use it. I cant wait to get my new stamp, then I will let you know how I like it!!

What is good quality soap stamp?

1. What you see and what you get. A good stamp shall be imprinting 3 mm deep, because when you washing soap, 1 mm depth imprinting words may easy disappeared.
2. Stamp won't pull out soap when imprinting. Many stamps are easy pull out soap, you have to clean out soap before stamping. If you have 200 soap and you clean all the time.
3. Good looking or big looking of imprinting words. It is very important check point for a good design, you can see imprinting clearly in 30 cm or 1 feet distance.
4. There is always cheap and good quality laser machine in Taiwan. There is no one use laser for soap stamp making, why? :roll:
I hope some people will add his/her health and life cost for laser operation.

We use acrylic material because it is cheap and it able to imprinting 3 mm deep.
I can make non-broken stamp, just make a 1 mm engraving. But, do you like a stamp is not much helpful for your business or not a good and worth buying.

Acrylic is weak but most customers won't make stamp broken.
When you stamp it, you must straight down and up.
Before imprint on soap, let few oil on stamp to avoid pull soap out.
