Wanted to post this on the other 'photos' thread with Ricing, volcanoes etc, but as I'm not sure what this is I thought I would ask my learned friends.
I call it breadcrumbs : )
It started as soap on a stick (luckily I had managed to mould half of my soap before it seized). It went from light trace to SOAS very quickly. I then popped the unused portion of soap back on the heat to warm it gently. I think the harder oils had started to cool quicker than the soft oils as there were big lumps of 'butter' in it. I was successful in removing these lumps by reheating, stirring and letting them melt back in to the rest of the batter. Then once I tried to mould it, it went very hard almost immediately I got it into the mold, so that I ended up pushing it in with my hands. What was left in the pot was these 'breadcrumbs'. In fact some of the soap I was forcing into the mold was turning to breadcrumbs too. It was pretty much setting as it was being moulded.
Thoughts and comments?
