just put in the oils or the whole batch including lye/water??
i am making cold process soap.
last year i included it all, pretty sure i read somewhere to do that?
thank you in advance!

* i did this read this on there sight for using the calculator
"Enter in the box labeled Amount how much you are planning to make. This would be the total batch or the yield. Then, in the box labeled Units, select ounces or grams."

any input from you soapers would still be great!

I don’t use the fragrance calculator but I add mine based on the oil weight. I pretty inch alway do 6% unless it’s a really strong scent. I only use fragrance that has a minimum of 5% usage with little exception. I’m sure others will share their preference as well.

:)I am very new to soap making and I decided I would just follow the 5% rule for FO and 3% for EO. Unless I take the lid off and the smell knots my head off then I use less

Brambleberry's is Oil + water weight.

It's usually about 2 ounces of fragrance for 10 bars, but there are exceptions.

Most of them are oil weight alone. I wish they'd each specify on the calculator page!

I think the one on MMS may be broken. It gives me the same amount for everything.

TBH - I cheat on this one. I just use the BB one and guess something close. I assume that (for example) Dragon's Blood is going to be similar enough in ingredients from supplier to supplier that I can use the BB Dragon's Blood calculations for any dragon's blood. Or if I have a Cucumber Melon FO, I can use the calculations for Cucumber Kiwi and it will be close enough.
