I'm splitting some FOs with another soaper. What kind of bottles can I store them in? I know that 2 and 5 are for lye, is there a number I can look for? Preferably something I can find at Walmart.

If you want something from Walmart I'm thinking (and I may be way off) that travel toiletry bottles may be your best bet. I've put alcohol and hairspray in them and they're pretty durable because they don't want them busting open in planes. I know that they have packs of clear bottles in the arts and crafts section but again.. Not sure what kind of plastic they're made of. I think you'll have to go there and snoop around. Hope you find something!

I save my old EO glass bottles - anything like that you could use lying about? Otherwise Im thinking like a small salad dressing bottle.

I use these for the scents I blend in larger amounts for soap and lotion.

They hold up to all EO and FO. ( I also use them for conditioner and lotion with different tops).

They are PET plastic so I would look for that. Recycle number is 1.

Funny I read on the site they consider the resistance poor but I've been using these for years without a problem. I just went to check and there is no melting or softening of the plastic on the inside or outside. ( bottle has been holding EO blend for over 6 months).

I've used HDPE #2 bottles with great success.
