So after reading Marie Gale's post on this, my question is this. Are carrier oils considered botanical ingredients? And would an ingredient list look like this:

INGREDIENTS:OliveOil,CoconutOil,CocosNucifera Extract, Water, Coconut Milk, Water, Avocado Oil,Sodium Hydroxide, ArganNutOil, CastorSeed Oil, Lavender Oil, Spearmint Oil, Lavender Buds, Spearmint Leaf.

Or this:

INGREDIENTS:OleaEuropaea (Olive) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, CocosNucifera Extract, Water, Potassium Metabisulfite (Coconut Milk),Water, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, ArganiaSpinosa (Argan) Nut Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Lavender Oil, Spearmint Oil, Lavender Buds, Spearmint Leaf.

If it is soap - just soap - and it is marketed as JUST soap (it cleans - doesn't moisturize, reduce acne, make you lose weight or cure eczema) you can use the common names. However; if you ever plan to sell anything else (lotions, scrubs etc), it's not a bad habit to get accustomed to using the proper INCI.
