We are testing a body cream with ingredients from Bramble Berry. Ingredients are Avacado & Mango butter, Meadowfoam oil, green tea extract, lemon grass essential oil, dry flo and olive oil. It feels bit greesy going on so we are suggesting (to our testers...family :D ) using it as night cream as it maybe be too oily for day use. I tried adding more avacado butter to make it less gressy but now it tends to look like whip cream. We want to move onto scrubs and body butter bar (after shower bar) but getting bogged down on body cream. We wanted to make a cream without water to avoid adding preservatives. Any suggestions would be great.

Butter and Oil body butters are by nature, quite greasy. But you could leave out the olive & avocado, which are both greasy oils. You could just stick with meadowfoam or you could add some fractionated coconut.

If that's still too greasy, then the next step would be venturing into water containing recipes.

Mango butter is dry so as Genny pointed out its the olive and avocado which are greasy culprits. So stick with 70% mango butter and 20% meadowfoam. You could also add, say 5-10% isopropyl myristate or isopropyl palmitate which will help with the greasies.
