For the past couple of months, I've been trying to make a body butter that I love. I've been so disappointed in the results; they've come out too hard. Even recipes from SwiftCraftyMonkey have disappointed. I really wanted to have an autumn body butter for my upcoming markets. Well, I think I finally found one. It's based on this one from Whole Elise. I've made it a couple of times now and I'm loving it. The one I made today has a combination of pumpkin seed oil, safflower oil, sweet almond oil, and avocado oil. I also added a bit of sea buckthorn oil for colour and I'm scenting it with Autumn Walk from Peak Candle Supplies. It's a beautiful, light fragrance.
The butter is fluffy, light, soaks in quickly, and makes my skin feel so silky.

Here's a comparison between two of the batches I made, a SCM recipe vs Whole Elise's recipe.
