Body bar vegan

I have tried to make a body bar/lotion bar without beeswax. Tried several recipes, but none of. Them seem to stiffen. Any experiences or suggestions for recipes?

They aren't going to be hard enough without beeswax or another wax. You can use Candelilla wax. There is also Rice Bran wax.

You will need some kind of wax. Have you come across the Swift Crafty Monkey website? Even though it's American there's lots of good information there which is well worth the dollar subscription

+1 on candelilla wax - this is what we use for all of our vegan customers. I find that using about 1/2 the amount of candelilla to substitute for beeswax (ie, if beeswax is 2T than candelilla will be 1T) works well.

Without any wax, you'll need something like 100% cocoa and/or mango butter - but even that will melt with a bit of ambient heat.
