My friend painted my cabin for me. She's the reason I started making soap again. She BEGGED me for months, so here's her soap in the button molds I bought on ebay. She has been making lard soap and got all confused when the amount of lye in the can changed. She has sensitive skin, so I threw everything in the book into this recipe...unscented. It has yet to age, but hope she likes it. It's the one I'm putting this label on:

bobsie.png

4 oz. castor oil
8 oz. lard
4 oz. coconut oil
5 superfat
1/2 cup evaporated goat milk (not diluted)
1 cup baby oatmeal
1/4 cup chamomile tea leaves

SoapCalc info:
17 cleansing
53 conditioning (not counting all the additives)
40 bubbly
46 creamy
158 INS hardness

I used ingredients she could buy at the grocery store.
Plain lard soap has cleansing of "1"! This soap is 17 because
she asked for more lather. Jessh, I hope she likes it. Gotta be better than plain lard soap.

Thanks, they're expensive on ebay, but release soap like a dream. I need to make a few bars for the cabin too...brown buttons are rustic.
