I made the black salve recipe from the Soapcrafters recipe site (with my own tweaks) and there is a tiny grit from the activated charcoal powder, and for those of you who make something similar - is this the way it supposed to be? It's very minimal, but there. I ground my own and thought I pulverized the bajeezus out of it. Can you never get it entirely silky smooth? Do I need to grind further?
TIA

I have never used it, but did some reading up on it a while back. Check into bamboo charcoal.

I wonder LJA if after you ground the beezezus out of it if you then added a bit of water to make a paste and then ground is some more?

What is black salve for?
