Making soap in the Forest House
I just made a soap that thickened much faster than I anticipated, so I had to do some quick maneuvering and change my original plan.

It made me curious about what unexpected things have happened to other soapers, and what you did to save a batch where the batter surprisingly misbehaved.

Had to walk away from blending for a sec, left the sb sitting in barely traced batter just to come back to a solid mass.
Pulled the SB out, wrapped the bowl in a towel until it went into full gel. Mixed it up good and poured, ended up looking like HP.

In this case, it was accelaration from a naughty FO.

I was working with a very naughty fo I hadn't used before and took every precaution I could and as soon as I added the fo it immediately riced and when I tried to stickblend it into submission it started seizing. That was the worst one of course it was a floral.
